Print Design
Some things are better on paper.
Business cards, stationery, ads, posters, invitations and wraps. We design print that feels as good as it looks, and we prepare every file so it prints exactly as intended.
In a world of screens, print gets noticed. A heavy business card, a well-set letterhead, an ad that stops a page turn. Print is where a brand becomes something people can hold, and it deserves the same care as anything digital.
What is print design?
Design that you can hold.
Print design is design made for physical production: business cards, stationery, ads, posters, flyers, invitations, wraps and more. It adds a layer most digital work doesn’t have: paper, colour profiles, bleed, finishes and the realities of the press.
We design print with production in mind from the start. For Oasis Health Partners we designed stationery and sell sheets; for Leslie and Ryan, an invitation suite and photo book; for NTR, a run of magazine ads.
Print is strongest as part of a consistent brand. See branding and brand guidelines.

What we put on paper.
Every format, prepared properly.
Let’s make something people can hold.

How we take you to print.
Good print design is half design, half production.

01Brief
Brief & Specs
We confirm sizes, quantities, paper and finishes early, before any design starts. Whether it’s business cards, a poster or a direct mail piece, those details affect the layout, the cost and how the final piece feels in someone’s hands.
Settling specs up front avoids the classic print headache of designing something that won’t fit, fold or finish the way you pictured. With the brief nailed down, we can design with confidence.

02Design
Design
We design to your brand and present options, so you can compare approaches and choose the one that suits the job. Every layout is built for print from the start, with type and imagery that hold up at full size.
We walk you through the thinking behind each option and refine based on your feedback. Once the design is approved, it moves into proofing, where the technical details get a careful look before anything is printed.

-
03Proof
Proofing
We check colour, bleed and details before anything is printed. That includes spelling, phone numbers, image resolution and colour settings, the small things that become very expensive after a print run.
You review a final proof and sign off when everything is right. Proofing is the last line of defence in print design, and catching a typo here costs a lot less than catching it on a stack of freshly printed flyers.

04Print
Production
Print-ready files and printer coordination. Your files are set up to your printer’s specifications, with bleed, crop marks and colour settings in place, so there’s no back-and-forth about missing fonts or low-resolution images.
We can also work with your printer directly, answering technical questions and reviewing proofs so the finished piece matches the design you approved. You get to skip the stress and simply enjoy opening the box of fresh prints.

Print that prints right.
No surprises at the press. From business cards and stationery to posters, invitations and wraps, we design print that feels as good as it looks, then prepare every file with the right colour profiles, bleeds and finishes, so what comes back matches what you approved.
Production know-how
Colour profiles, bleed and finishes are handled properly. Foils, embossing, spot colours and special papers are specified correctly from the start, so there are no costly reprints.
Trusted printers
We know who to call for every job. We match your project to the right printer for quality, budget and timeline, and manage the proofs so you don’t have to.
Brand-consistent
Print that matches your website and everything else. Colours are set up for paper as well as screen, so your brand looks the same in someone’s hand as it does online.
Detail-obsessed
Type, spacing and paper are chosen with care. Small decisions like weight, texture and line length are what make a business card or invitation feel worth keeping.
We’ve earned some good company. Recognize anyone?
They demonstrated strong creative vision while still incorporating our feedback, ensuring the final logo, website, and visual style truly represented our company.

Beyond their technical expertise, what truly stood out was how personally invested the team was in our success. They took the time to understand our business priorities and consistently aligned their work to meet those objectives.

We had an incredibly short and aggressive timeline that Envy Design Co. met, delivering an incredible website. After the websites were launched, leads continued to come in.

Frequently asked questions.
What kinds of print design do you do?
Business cards, stationery, ads, posters, flyers, invitations, menus, vehicle wraps, banners and more.
Our print design services cover the everyday pieces every business needs and the bigger, high-impact ones that get you noticed. What makes print design work is attention to how and where it will be seen: a business card needs to feel good in the hand, a banner needs to read from across a room, and a vehicle wrap needs to make sense at a glance. We design everything to fit your brand so it all looks like one company. If you need something printed, we can most likely design it.
Can you manage printing for us?
Yes. We prepare print-ready files and can coordinate with trusted printers for quotes, proofs and production.
Managing print can take a surprising amount of time, especially for larger runs or specialty pieces. We can handle the details for you: recommending paper stocks, finishes and printing methods, getting quotes, checking proofs for colour and accuracy, and keeping production on schedule. If you already have a printer you like, we're happy to work with them instead. Either way, our aim is that your finished print design arrives looking exactly as it should, without you having to chase anyone.
Do you design for both print and digital?
Yes. We often deliver print files alongside digital versions for email and social.
Many print pieces have a second life online. An event poster might become a social post, a flyer might be emailed to customers, and a menu might live on your website. Designing print and digital versions together saves time and keeps your branding consistent. We adjust layouts and file types for each use, since print files need high resolution and specific colour settings while digital files need to load quickly and look sharp on screens. Just let us know where each piece will appear and we'll plan for it.
What files will I receive?
Print-ready PDFs to your printer's specs, plus source files and digital versions where useful.
Print-ready files include the correct dimensions, bleed, crop marks, colour mode and resolution, so your printer can produce them without delays. Source files, such as Adobe InDesign or Illustrator documents, make future edits easier, whether you come back to us or have an in-house designer. Digital versions are optimized for email, websites and social media. We organize and label everything clearly, so you can find the right file when you need it. If your printer has particular requirements, send them over and we'll follow them.
How much does print design cost?
It depends on the piece and the scope. We quote each project individually.
Print design costs depend on what's being designed, how many pages or versions you need, whether content needs writing or editing, and any special formats like folds, die-cuts or large-format sizes. A set of business cards is quicker than a multi-page menu or a vehicle wrap. Printing is separate from design, and we can help you get print quotes too. Tell us what you need, how many and when, and we'll send a clear quote so you know exactly what's included.
