01 — Context
Drone sell sheet design for Defiant Labs
Defiant Labs is a drone production company based in Oakville, Ontario, building aircraft for industrial and defence operations. Its sales team needed one piece of print to introduce two very different products: the DX-3, a long-range fixed-wing drone for inspections and monitoring, and the new LX-I, a survey-grade LiDAR solution for aerial mapping.
A sell sheet like this is a working tool. It is handed over in meetings and left behind for buyers to come back to. It has to look as advanced as the hardware and still explain the technical case in a few seconds. We designed it as marketing collateral that a sales team can rely on, beautiful and useful in equal measure.
02 — Design
Two drones, one sky, one clear hierarchy
We set the whole sheet in the sky, a full-bleed field of blue and white clouds that puts both aircraft in their element. The Defiant Labs mark, a bold "D" built from speed lines, sits at the top in black.
The DX-3 leads, because it is the flagship. Its cut-out photo crosses the page diagonally, the name is set in a heavy, squared-off display face in deep blue, and a subhead declares it "the future of long-range inspections & monitoring." The specs follow in a compact paragraph: Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) flight, VTOL-to-fixed-wing transition, 24-hour endurance and a 1,500 km range.
The LX-I takes the lower half in a lighter blue, with the hexacopter rising out of a cloud. Oversized, faded product names sit behind both, and thin dashed lines suggest flight paths. The web address runs across the foot. It is print design that lets a buyer grasp both products before they read a word of the detail.
