Faeth Therapeutics It's here! unboxing insert in plum with white food illustrations and storage tips

01 — Context

An unboxing experience worthy of the patients

Faeth Therapeutics works at the forefront of science that uses metabolism and diet as a way to treat cancer. As part of its programme, people receive regular deliveries of meals and snacks planned with their dietitian. For someone going through cancer treatment, opening that box should feel reassuring and simple, not confusing.

Faeth asked us to reimagine the unboxing experience. We did a deep dive into the audience, their goals and the emotional tone the brand needed, then designed a series of labels and an insert card. This healthcare packaging design had a practical brief too: every meal had to be easy to identify from a bird's-eye view and when stacked in the refrigerator.

02 — Design

Colour-coded meals and a warm welcome

Our packaging design gives each meal its own colour: deep green for breakfast, plum for lunch and navy for dinner, with green for Snack Time. The meal name is set large in an elegant lowercase serif, so it can be read at a glance on a fridge shelf. Below it, a soft panel names the dish, like Spinach Mushroom Frittata, and lists what is inside. Snacks carry a simple letter code to match the meal plan.

Hand-drawn white illustrations of mushrooms, spinach, nuts and herbs cover each lid, making the food feel fresh and personal rather than clinical.

The plum "it's here!" insert greets people in the box. It explains what is inside, how to store meals, what can be recycled and how to reach a dietitian through the Faeth App if anything seems wrong. It is a piece of print design that answers questions before they are asked. For more healthcare work made for patients, see our BD Diabetes Care flyer.
